The PCD traditionally presents three annual festivals; Cabin Fever, Music Mix and Storybook Holiday in Hamilton, as well as the Great Chocolate Wreck - A Sweet Celebration of History (on an occasional basis), and special events including HAM It Up! on the Village Green in historic downtown Hamilton. In 2008, the Hamilton Business Alliance coordinated a newly revised Holiday Celebration, themed "A World of Holidays - Celebrating Global Community".

Thousands of community residents and visitors from miles away enjoy the free public festivals that provide opportunities for people to learn about different cultures, gain new experiences, gather with friends, create special memories, and enrich their lives and the quality of the greater Hamilton community.
